Hi! I’m Laura. I am a Visionary – always seeking New Lands and pondering New Possibilities. I ask questions. This blog comes from how those questions impacted my daily choices. And how those choices led me here.
“Thus says the LORD: “Stand by the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.” Jeremiah 6:16.
As I have asked those questions over the years, His answers have led me down a “good way”. A way that may seem ancient to many today. A way more restful to my soul – which is not the same thing as boring or slow-paced or easy. My current titles include wife, mother, mother-in-love, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, neighbor, business partner and teacher. A snapshot of my daily roles includes home manager, home educator, construction and real estate business partner, blogger, bed & breakfast hostess and start-up farm director. I enjoy living on our small diversified farm in North Carolina with my husband Scott, the youngest of our 7 children and more than a few plants and animals. Our adult children and their families’ regular visits are a delight on our schedule.
